Spiced Chickpea Snack


Erwan deviates a bit from his ordinary Southeast Asian recipes to make a simple snack that takes just 5 mins and beats mixed nuts or popcorn any day. Impress your guests and your tastebuds with these fried + spiced chickpeas topped with parmesan cheese.


2 cups of chickpeas, soaked overnight
2 tsp olive oil
2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp toasted fennel seeds
4 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp cayenne pepper
Kosher salt to taste
½ cup parmesan cheese


Deep fry the chickpeas.

Mix chickpeas with all the spices.

Drizzle with olive oil and garnish with grated parmesan cheese.
