Skip your usual salt and pepper scheme and try this Asian Burger featuring Kikkoman Soy Sauce, scallions, garlic and more. Oh, did we mention it has Sriracha mayo too?
Asian Burger with Sriracha Mayo
Makes 4 burgers
1 lb ground beef
⅓ cup sliced scallion
3 cloves garlic
1 Tbsp Kikkoman soy sauce
⅓ cup panko
1 Tbsp oyster sauce
¼ tsp white pepper
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
¼ cup carrot, julienned
¼ cup red cabbage, thinly sliced
¼ cup daikon sprouts
1 ½ tsp Kikkoman Sriracha Mayo Sauce
4 burger buns
4 leaves red lettuce
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, scallion, and garlic.
In a small bowl, soak soy sauce, panko and oyster sauce to a paste.
Mix paste into meat mixture. Season with white pepper and combine.
Form 4 patties and let sit to room temperature.
Toss carrot, cabbage and sprouts together and season with a dash of soy sauce.
Heat skillet to medium heat. Cook patties for about 5 minutes per side.
Toast buns if desired. To assemble, spread a thin layer of Kikkoman Sriracha Mayo sauce on bun, place lettuce on bottom bun, then burger patty followed by carrot slaw. Drizzle Kikkoman Sriracha mayo over the top.
